How to take the measurements?

When you take measurements, keep in mind that...

  • Be precise, but don't stress. In general, giving a measurement with a precision of half a centimeter (5 mm) is enough.

  • Don't worry about the distances between posts. We make the distribution of the posts in each section so that all the modules of a section are equal. The maximum distance between pole axes is 158 cm for PVC slats and 200 cm for aluminum slats.

  • If they are not straight sections, it always helps if you send us a sketch (even if drawing is not your thing). Or even photos of the place, where the complicated points are seen.

  • If you accept the quote, before manufacturing anything we send you a scale sketch for confirmation.

  • Once you receive the fence, measurement errors of up to 1 cm per meter can be corrected during installation. And if that is not enough, with a hand saw you can cut the PVC or WPC slats of the last module to a shorter size, for example.

measurement guide

For a straight section, measure the maximum free height that the fence must occupy, and the height of the fence. Take into account if there is any obstacle that limits the height of the fence.

For an L-section above a wall, measure the maximum length of each side and the width of the wall. We already took care of the calculations so that the fence follows the center line of the wall.

For a section in "U", follow the concept of the section in L. Check that the width of the wall is the same in each section.

For a typical stair wall run, simply measure the length of the flat part of each step, and the jump height of each step
